You are looking at a pair of Ruhnke Fabrikat Televist 8x Binoculars
These were manufactured by Ruhnke Optik Rathenow, probably in the 1920s and carry the serial number 50398.
The binoculars are in decent vintage cosmetic condition – some wear to the metal but no major issues.
Inside the binoculars there’s some dusting and in the left side there’s a small circular patch which might be fungus – I’m not sure. Again, it’s not terrible.
The focus knob turns fine and the binoculars do focus. However the diopter knob is very stiff and doesn’t seem to work – the images through the left and right glass do not overlap properly, so the binoculars do need some attention
