At left side you can see German ‘national emblem’ of this time and a “M” for using at marine.a previous owner has tried to remove this but the banned symbol on ebay is under the stickerAt right side you see “ARTL” for artillery , DF 7×50 (=Doppelfernrohr), These binoculars were used during world war 2 probably at warships or at artillery to protect the coastline from airplanes and other attacks.The binoculars will be delivered with original strap and leather eye-piece protection cap ( the protection cap is stamped with early Kriegsmarine markings. )
