Found when clearing my parents house, I believe these to be WW2 German binoculars possibly u-boat use? They are Carl Zeiss blc 7×50 with original bakelite user cap and strap. Serial no on them is is 2222553, Which I think dates them to 1942, they do show signs of wear as commensurate with age and use. The rubber round the eyepieces are a bit distorted/perishing and the some of the black colour has worn off the main body. The right lens has a vertical and horizontal row of numbers that make a cross that you can see when viewing, from 10 to 50 in increments of 10 these maybe a rang grid but I dont really know. The lenses look to be clear and in good condition as is the leather strap and eye cap. As I say the black colour is worn in places but the overall condition I would say is generally good. Please also study photos as part of description and ask any questions. All information I have researched on the internet but as I am no expert i cannot absolutely confirm this is correct, although my dad was in Germany in WW2.Will be dispatched with a signed for service, please note post and packing costs for uk mainland only, if outside this please ask for postal costs prior to bidding. Thanks
