Thislisting is for a large high power observation style binocular whichshould be of interest to astronomers. The binocular has 20xmagnification and large 80mm objective lenses. The body isrubberised, and rubber fold down eyecups are fitted for spectaclewearers. A proper adjustable tripod mounting shaft and bracket arefitted, but obviously you`ll need your own tripod.Optically,BAK 4 prisms and multi coating help to provide a very pleasing view.This model has received praise from various astronomy magazines andinternet forums.Thebinocular comes complete with its original excellent zipped &velcro case with inner padded compartment and outer pocket -,plus a shoulder strap, neckstrap (unused), ocular rainguard,objective lens caps, original documents and lens cloth.Ihave used this binocular on my own tripod and have been veryimpressed with it looking over the countryside beyond my house, but Ido suspect that the collimation is just slightly out.
