VINTAGE TAYLOR HOBSON 1941 BINOCULARS BINO-PRISM NO.2 MKII NO. 54671 Description Here for auction is a vintage pair of binoculars by Taylor Hobson that dates back to 1941. The binoculars are in good cosmetic condition for their age although there is some wear to the metal exposing a brass colour underneath. The binoculars are missing the larger lens caps and the smaller lens caps differ, so it is likely that these are replacement lens caps and not the originals. The binoculars are housed in a lovel black hard case made of faux leather with a red velvet interior that has faded over the years. The lenses are a little cloudy but there does not appear to be any fungus inside and if there is it is a negligible amount. These are a lovely vintage pair of binoculars released during the 2nd World War and probably used during this time as well.
