Lovely pair of what I believe to be military field binoculars.
The lenses are working, and age of the piece mean some wear to the glasses and case. The top of the strap on the case has come away from the lid, but I think easily repaired.
The glasses are by Lumiere in Paris – though the leather case is marked as made in England. I think it is however the original case, suggesting they are British Army WW2 binoculars. The fixings to the case suggest military use and fixing to a belt
They measure approx just over 5″ in height and weigh approx 700g in the case
