Vintage Cased Russian Olympic Logo 8×30 Binoculars in excellent condition with original light filters, manufacture’s certificate and instructions, dated 12 1979. The case is in good condition but the neck strap has deteriorated with age (see photo). These Binoculars were produced in advance of the 1980 summer Olympics, officially known as the Games of the XXII Olympiad which were boycotted by China, USA , Canada and many other countries in protest against the invasion of Afghanistan by Soviet forces.
These Binoculars can be considered a 1980 Olympic souvenir.
