A vintage pair of Carl Zeiss Jena 10x50W Jenoptem binoculars
Comes in Original Leather Case with Straps (binos & case)
Marked ‘DDR’ on the pivot point between the eye pieces
Cosmetically externally very good with very little wear to the binoculars metal casing,
and all seems to work, adjustments are smooth.
Exterior of lenses are very good,
there are a couple of flecks internally in the optics,
and also 3 flecks off the anti reflective coating on one side
(see 2nd closeup photo which shows these),
so I assume one probably relates to the other
So would benefit from an internal service
Please bear this in mind
They look like they’ve been very well looked after overall thoughI’ve tried to show all sides & angles in the photos
Binocular strap good
Brown leather case also very good overall with minimal wear
Leather case strap a bit more worn
Clasp all works fine
