This is a GENUINE ANTIQUE BARDOU & SON TELESCOPE60mm Field Telescope
The Telescope is a Draw-Tube Type and Focuses by moving the Eyepiece Tube in & out
It has an Extending Lens Shade for the objective
The| Optics seem to be in good condition but the whole Telescope would benefit from a good clean
The Body is covered in Leather and there are two attachement loops (one is broken) which would imply it may have been carried across the back or shoulder
The Mount is curious but acts as a table-top support
The Telescope is held in place by two leather straps attached to wooden v-blocks on a metal carrier
This has the manufactures name and City of Manufacturer on the tube
