I AM HAVING A CLEAR OUT OF ALL THE BINOCULARS I HAVE COLLECTED OVER THE YEARS. SOME OF THESE I INHERITED, BUT THIS PAIR I BOUGHT WHEN I FIRST MOVED TO IPSWICH WHICH WAS IN THE LATE 90’s. BUT I BELIEVE THESE DATE FROM THE 60’s OR EARLIER. THE ARE STAMPED WITH THE NAME “H & R SNEEZUM”, AND THE LAST DATE THAT I CAN ESTABLISH FOR THE “H & R SNEEZUM” SHOP WAS 1961. THEY WERE A WELL KNOWN RETAILER BASED IN THE “FORE STREET” AREA OF IPSWICH.
THESE ARE 8 x 25 AND WERE MADE IN FRANCE. THEY REALLY FEEL GOOD IN THE HAND AND BOTH FOCUSING CONTROLS WORK SMOOTHLY AND EASILY.
THESE ARE IN NICE CLEAN CONDITION WITH ONLY MINIMAL LOSS OF PAINTTHE HARD CASE IS IN REASONABLE CONDITION FOR ITS AGE BUT IT HAS LOST ITS FASTENING STRAP
