This Vanguard Platinum EDT 8×42 Binocular was my sample when I called on the Photographic & Optical retail trades, and as such has never been used apart from showing them to a few dealers. The Platinum EDT Series is Vanguard’s most innovative line of optics. Constructed of magnesium alloy, this binocular is extremely durable yet lightweight. Its open hinge design provides great comfort in use for extended periods of time. The lenses are built with quality phase coating on every surface which greatly enhances the level of clarity and light transmission which ensures an overall great optical performance.
These binoculars also feature twist out eyecups that help in getting a full field of view wether wear glasses or not. It also allows you to quickly and easily clean the unit.
