For sale is a Russian made ZRT457M telescope, renowned asone of the best soviet era spotting or star gazing scopes.Diameter of the lensis 70mm, lens focal length is 420mm. It has 30x and 60x magnification. Resolutionis 1.76 angular seconds. It comes complete with extending tripod, leathertravelling case and owners manual. The image of the moon and other planets are amazing. You can see birds from over a Kilometre away and identify objects much much further away. As far asI can tell there is no spotting to the lenses and the image is clear and crisp.There is a small piece of plastic missing from the eye piece but it in no wayeffects the working of the telescope. It weighs about 1.2kg, so not heavy tocarry and has a working operational temperature range of 20 to +50 degrees.It has a serial number of 959576 and date of manufacture January 1996. A very good quality telescope, used but in good conditionand is perfect for an opticals collector, keen amateur astronomer or target shooter and so much better quality than a modern cheap introductory telescope.Length – 47cmThe auction will run to the end.
