Helios 200mm telescope OTA. Which means it does not come with a mounttripod
I have several telescopes and find this gives good views of the moon stars and some clusters. Is good for planets like Venus, Mars and Jupiter.
In meteor showers I just stand on its end and look through it.
Be realistic though you won’t see large super sharp images like on TV and Magazines, unless you are an expert with slow capture photography and computers.
Ideal beginners scope as even though a large size it’s not too difficult to use yet will give a better view than a 50, 100, 114mm beginners scope.
Because of its size it’s collect only.
This was 300 new and I’m selling for 35 as you won’t have a mount.
I’ll find you a couple of basic lenses for free to start you off.
As for the mount you will have to source one of your own. I rest it on a garden table to look at star clusters and the moon but use my mount for other star gazing, so if you get serious then that’s definitely a must that you buy a mount.
