This telescope has a champagne coloured barrel in aluminium. The tripod legs are also aluminium and this, combined with extensive use of engineering plastics, results in a very lightweight assembly at marginally under 2kg. Hence the telescope is very portable. An adjustable bracket, fitted to the bottom of the fixed part of the tripod legs, ensures that the well proportioned tripod is really quite sturdy. There is a target finder tube to the side of the main telescope for ease of finding objects of interest.
