T2 to Canon EOS SLR / DSLR adapter

This mount adapter ring allows T2 mount ( a.k.a T- mount ) 42mm x 0.75mm thread lenses to be used on Canon EOS mount Film and Digital bodies (e.g. 50D 60D 500D 550D etc)
Please note:
T2 lenses only work in manual mode and cannot be controlled electronically from a modern Canon camera. Focus and aperture need to be set from the lens itself. The camera’s auto-focus, aperture control and all other programmable modes will not operate when used with a T2 lens.
This adapter will not fit the new EOS-M interchangeable lens compact cameras or M42 screw lenses. Attempting to mount an M42 lens on a T2 mount and vice-versa will damage the thread of both the lens and the mount.
This adapter can be used to connect most telescopes to a Canon EOS SLR / DSLR camera. However, please note that you will need an T2 attachment. Many telescopes do not come with an T2 attachment as standard and this can be an optional accessory. Please consult your telescope’s manual for further information.
