Observationskikare Luft Artillerie 1944one rare pair of swedish Flak observation binocular NIFE 8×50 OLA2 M/44 produced for swedish militaryreally solid and everything that moves does so effortlessly, apparently only 767 were made so obviously these dont come up for sale very oftenthey are also mentioned in hans seegers book revision 4 page 457very good optically with no damage to prisms or lenses, minor dirt specks inside but actually more dirt on outside especially round outer edges though still has a good image and in collimation, graticule in right hand ocular, oculars are smooth yet firm, spins 360 and elevates smoothly, pull down internal dark filter, bodywork lets them down with various bits flaking with wear and tear and alloy shroud has beginnings of corrosion comes complete with its original wooden storage crate with some accessories like its sight bar, cover shroud and graticule lighting system which was still working a few years ago though will need new battery now, ive tried to show grat lit up by using a white led torch but its too bright and also not too good a pic using a cheap phone camera antiques dealer in chelsea has a nice pair if you want to see them polished upthe weight is about 30kg with wooden box and is quite bulkywill have 2 numbered lock padlocks attached will be sent via ups standard uk which is usually next daypostage will be higher for highlands and islands so please let me know and ill get a quote for youyou are more than welcome to come and view and ill set them up in back garden as it overlooks the sea so some very nice views available
these do NOT come with the tripod pictures, tripod is NOT includedmounting base of binocular hasn’t been changed or altered in anyway i just happened to find the right size mount that fitted perfect and securely so i could use them on the tripod i can send buyer pics of the mounting i used if required also if you want more pictures of certain parts just message me
