This baby is working perfectly (to be expected, after all it is a Swaro!), boasting scratch-free lenses with some microscopic cleaning smudges.
Perfectly collimated offering a very relaxing image!
A couple of issues I should draw your attention to: there are some crystalline particles formed on the inside walls of the tubes, an issue that I have come across with most of the Swaros made around the time this baby was built.
There are,also, some traces of dust, not fungi, just some particles of dust. The small crystals and the dust particles are only visible when you look through the objectives with a flashlight. None of these (crystals or dust) has any influence on the quality of the image which is perfectly and symmetrically adjustable for both eyes!
One of the eyecups is broken and though I have glued it together very solidly I have, also, ordered a new one with Swarovski which should arrive by the time this auction will end!
So what have we got here? A perfectly working Swaro which is simply a joy to use: small, light, extremely solid and reliable and boasting a very relaxing image due to its yellowish hue so comforting for our tired eyes, esp. on very sunny days!
It is obvious this bino has seen better days but, believe me, for this embarrassing price, this is a deal you don’t wanna miss!
