WWII SWAROVSKI cag CODED GERMAN MILITARY BINOCULARS.
6×30, H/6400.
Lightweight Alloy.
+ 0 = originally lubricated with an extreme cold weather suitable grease.
* The cag three letter German Wartime Code indicates these as being manufactured by the Swarvoski Factory in Tyrol, Austria.*
* Serial No 40673.*
Both sides focus well, independently and together in combination.
No double imaging, collimation is 100%.
Working well, giving a good very serviceable image, only very minimal haze due to some light / minor internal deposits mainly on the right hand side, some small specks visible in use, exclusively on the Graticule (right hand side).
No fungus or mold.
Externally in good order with only minor cosmetic patina of age and use, intact with no cracks, dents, major damage or structural issues throughout.
No cracked or chipped Eye-cups.
No internal damage, no rattles when shaken.
Lenses in excellent order, only minor signs of age and use including a few very very small and light scratches to the Ocular Lenses, no chips or cracks to any, all firmly seated.
Both Oculars work firmly and smoothly, no slippage.
Central Pivot moves firmly and smoothly, no play or slack.
Barrel Coatings intact and in very good order generally, no losses.
Leather Strap strong and serviceable.
