Skywatcher Explorer 10″ -250PDS f/4,7 Newtonian on EQ6 SkyScan Pro Goto
with extra weight and EQMOD controller
Also included is the mains power supply (12V – 3.0A compact switching wall adapter 100-240VAC)
The first image is a stock photo, the next four photos show how I had it set up.
It was mounted on a concrete post so the tripod as never been out of the box.
When new it comes with two counter weights, I added an extra weight so that the counter balance arm could be retracted a bit, it gave me more room in the small observatory. So that extra weight is not needed if you set it up with room to spare.
You will see in the photo a little black box plugged into the com port, that is a EQMOD Bluetooth controller, I controlled the scope from my laptop with Starry night pro 6 program, and EQMOD control software. Because of this the hand controller has never been used, so its as new.
The only mark on the telescope is on the spotting scope mount where I had a camera adapter fitted.
I purchased this from Teleskop-express on 16/08/2013 cost 1,699 Euros + 27.90 Euros for the power supply. I see now they sell the telescope for 1,818 Euros.

Some people just do not read the above, so why will I not post?….
1. I no longer have the box for the telescope tube, and it needs a lot of protection.
2. The parts weigh approx 20-25 Kg each, so it’s going to cost about 170 to post, and that’s without insurance on top.
3. It’s cheaper to hire a van :-/
