DescriptionShort Tube 90mm f5.5/500mm Wide Field Refracting Telescope c/w Rotating Crayford.This short tube 90mm f5.5/500mm wide field refracting telescope is in excellent, fully working condition, as shown in the supplied images. It was used a couple of times for testing the image quality, then stored and forgotten about. The fast(f5.5, 500mm focal length) fully multi-coated 90mmdiameter objective lensis perfect, being clean, clear and totally blemish-free.This super little refractor features a rotating Crayford focuser, sliding dew shield, built-in 1/4″ tripod mounting thread, dual 1.25″/2″ eyepiece adapter, both end capsand a padded carry case as shown. It would make a superb grab-and-go ‘scope for anyone needing a quality, ultra-portable telescope.Thisrefracting telescopeisconstructed fromlight weight aluminium alloy and is sturdy, very wellmade and is fully functional. You will need a sturdy tripod and either a 1.25″ or 2″ diagonal and eyepiece(s) to get up and running. I have some suitable items for sale or they can be easily found here on eBay.
