Postage and Packaging General Information
Collection only items:
where an item is listed as ‘collection only’ it is often due to an items size and weight or it is cost prohibitive, or not covered for damage by couriers.
Most items are stored at and can be collected from St Clare Hospice, Hastingwood – Open 9-5 during weekdays only (Please do not turn up un-announced – we are a hospice)
Some items are stored at our Bishops Stortford Depot and will state collection only from there only.
If you would like to use your own courier please contact us and we can help with directions etc. Courier collections are made at the buyers own risk.
Posted Items:
We usually use Royal Mail for smaller parcels (under 2 KG) and a courier for larger ones.
We are more than happy to change postage to an expedited service should you need it please message us for any requests.
International items:
We often use the eBay Global Shipping program (GSP. If you would like an item to be posted to you and you are not based in the UK, and don’t want to use the GSP please message us with your address and if you would prefer a method of shipping and we can assist in posting the items to you.
We only use tracked postage outside the UK
Please note that some countries have restrictions and extra taxes and fees that we cannot be responsible for.
Please check with us for postage rates to locations not usually covered by normal postal services.
Combined Postage:
We will combine postage where more than one item is purchased- please message us before paying so that we can re-invoice you.
Packaging:
Items will be carefully wrapped and packed for shipping. We also try to recycle packaging as much as possible.
Office Hours:
Please note: Our office hours are Monday to Friday 9 til 5 onlyItems will be dispatched during these times – last post is at 3PM
We will en-devour to respond to any messages throughout the week but this may not always be possible at the weekends.
Items:
Most items we sell have been donated to our shops and are pre-owned. We have no history with these items.
