For sale my Ostara Elinor 12 x 50 Binoculars. They have been used very little and are in excellent condition. The optics are clean and unmarked. Complete with carry case. Quite high magnification at 12 x but still OK to hand hold (higher power binoculars can be very difficult to use when hand held as it is hard to keep the image steady)
They are of very good quality and give excellent performance for not much money. Many Chinese binoculars have often not had much of a reputation in the past but these are really rather good. They are sold around the world under various brand names, eg Loava or United Optics.

I have owned them from new. New cost now about 130 – 170. They are about three years old. I have had an interest in optical instruments for more than 40 years but now need to reduce the number of binoculars I own, so these have to go. You will not be disappointed with them. The 10 x 50 version of these binoculars won a Sky at Night group test award in 2010.
