Orbinar – from astronomers for astronomers Erecting Eyepiece 1.5x produces an upright and side correct image in the telescope.
This is particularly of importance for terrestrial observations, because without it the image would appear upside down. Example:
A telescope with a focal length of 1000mm used in combination with a 20mm Plssl-Eyepiece has got a magnification of 50-times (1000mm focal length / PL-20mm = 50).
If you add Erecting Eyepiece 1.5x to this you achieve an upright and side correct image with a 75-times magnification (50 x 1.5 = 75). Contents of delivery:
