A very fine rare pair of Optolyth roofprism binoculars, used but in very good working order, with a goodclear view, no internal dirt or fungus, and all focussing partsmoving freely. They are labelled Touring 10X40B no 14267 made in West Germany. Lookinginto the objective lenses, there is a faint line straight across themiddle of the RH one, not a crack I think but something in themanufacture. It is hardly visible, and does not affect the viewing. I have not been able to photograph this. Apart form this, they are near perfect. The rubber eyecups are in good condition. There is no strap, and nopaperwork, just a box labelled Touring 10X40 BGA. Made in WestGermany. These retailed new at more than 500.
