The item for sale is a pair of Opticron imagic BGA 10×42 WP PC ASFT binoculars.
Opticrons BGA series offers innovative close focus roof prism, superb optical performance with perfect weight and ease of handling.
The optical system has been designed to provide comfortable viewing for long periods. Other specifications include optical glass coatings to achieve the highest possible resolution and clarity with good colour contrast in low light.
The body is made from alloy and polycarbonate, is nitrogen filled and waterproof to a depth of 5 metres. Contoured rubber is used to provide good protection, grip and comfort.
The binoculars provide full field for spectacle wearers: rotating retractable eyecups and a right dioptre adjustment. Focusing is by a fast yet fine smooth-action wide wheel: ~1.3 turns end to end; field of view is 6 degrees. The non original case is included.
The binoculars are ideal for watching wildlife, birding, astronomy and marine applications. I have found them a brilliant instrument. What drew me to them oringinally was the amazing brilliance and clarity of the image in low light too. The fine and accurate focussing is perfect and the weight is a good combination which promotes steadiness of image for users of all physiques.
