Here is a pair of lightly used Nikon Monarch 5 10×42 binoculars. Condition is excellent – externally there are no noticeable cosmetic blemishes and the glass is in very nice condition with a clear and bright image. All focus adjustments work smoothly. If I am being extremely picky there is a very small squeaking noise on some parts of the rotation of the main focus adjustment wheel. All pictures are of the actual items for sale. The image quality of these Monarch 5 Nikons is very good for the price point (as is reflected in many of the online reviews which can be Googled up). I have also found the eye relief to be very comfortable.
The binoculars come with their original box and standard accessories. An extra harness type strap (which was a free promotional non standard accessory add-on at the time of purchase) is included, as is the optional (extra cost) tripod mount adapter (TRA-3) which I bought separately and which also comes with its original box. The only non standard accessory is the cover piece for the eye pieces – the original Nikon item is made of a hard plastic and it does not fit snugly around the eyepieces so is prone to falling off. I therefore replaced it with a more flexible aftermarket item which fits more snugly and does a better job as shown in the pictures (note: the original Nikon branded plastic eyepiece cover is not pictured but I still have it and it will be included in the sale).
