Fully multicoated, waterproof. Sharp, bright optics, with a remarkable 65 degree field of view, make them a spectacular astronomy binocular giving stunning views of star clusters and objects such as the Great Nebula in Orion. Equally good for terrestrial observation. Normally, I’d say that 12x was on the high side for a handheld binocular, but these are so well balanced that it’s easy to maintain a steady image. The Minolta Activa W range are among the best porro prism binoculars ever made but are no longer in production and don’t come up for sale very often – people tend to hang on to them.
Glass perfectly clean inside and out, focusing smooth and firm. No chips or scratches. Very good cosmetically – see photos.
They will be very well packed – I’ve sold over 300 binoculars on ebay and all have arrived safely. Signed for postage at cost; if the actual cost exceeds my estimate I’ll refund the difference.
