What does it do?
During the one night a month when the moon is gone, clouds at bay and the alignment goes right, the last thing you need is dew. Dew on telescope optics can be a real pain, this Mindburner circuit can help.
Once completed, It enables connection of dew heater tapes and straps, DIY or commercial. Two work well.
I used it very successfully with my Meade 5000 127mm refractor.
It provides variable pulsed power, the duration can be changed via the potentiometer.LED duration indicator555 timer / TIP120 based designideal for integration into a box or enclosure12v supply. It’s highly advisable to use an inline fuse with the power supply and to not leave the device on for long periods unattended.
