Hi selling my Meade etx90 Maksutov-Cassegrain Telescope & accessories as Ive now got the bug & need to fund my nexted telescope,I bought the scope on its own & built it up through the last 12mths.This scope is a really smart piece of kit if you are a casual observer or a serious astronomer(also can be used as a spotting scope),I used it together with my DSLR and got great results aspecialy when using the Autostar controller (pic 5) with its 30,000+ built in star & satellite coordinates or if your really good at mapping the skies just use the remote (pic6).If your like me and live in a very lit up area this kit is for you as it is very portable and easy to set up just put it in your car & away you go although I learnt from a internet forum that you can make a hood for the scope using thin black card of which I found very good & a cheap option than the ones you can buy.The scope comes with a x2 barlow lens,series 4000 super Plossl 26mm & a 9.7mm super plossl (1.25″O.D),also included is a 240v power pack serial 10m data cable with a usb converter(software inc to connect you pc laptop ect) 1x Stellarium Astronomical informations cd which is brilliant for using the data cable as it shows exactly where your scopes pointing(good for cold nights)and if are like me ie allways wanting something more tech you can make a camera out of a old web cam & watch it live from you back room or shed(detailed vidio on youtube)dont think Ive left anyting out all thats left to say is that it is in top condition and everything works as Ive took realy good care of this scope as you can see from the pictures alltough the top foam has come off the case but I find this usfull as I can leave my notes & star charts in the case as well as everything I need for a nights observing thanks for looking & happy bidding item will be sent by currior & will be fully insured but you are welcome to collect
