Meade ETX 90 /EC motorised telescope sold with Meade Deluxe field telescope tripod stand. Condition is used
The telescope is in working order.Included with the telescope is an 8x 21 view finder , a 26mmSuper plossl lens giving 48xmagnification and a 9.7mm Super plossl lens giving a 129 x magnification . The telescope isfitted with an electronic controller toadjust the position of the telescope andallows you when focused on the object,to track the object . This also has thefacility to electronically focus , but a further accessory is required for that feature to operate . Focusing is currently manual.It requires 8 x AA batteries to operate the system , these wont be included as part of the sale . There is slight bit ofinternal damage to the battery compartment, having left batteries in the unit too long .But the systemworks fine . Detailed instructions on how to set the telescope and use itare included , along with instructions on how to set up the tripod stand ,withthe telescope . Included within theinstructions are details on accessories that could be bought to enhance theperformance of this telescope.The deluxe tripod stand has more adjustments than the standard tripod.
