Having a major scope and eyepiece clearout over next week and up for sale is my
Meade 2080 8″SCT Telescope (at f6.3 will be the LX6/Premier version)
This is a very rare F6.3 Wide Field Version and designed for imaging. The optical tubes on these are the same as the LX90/LX200 and it was the mounts that were generally updated over the years
Using the standard LX200 focal reducers 0.63 and 0.33 (f6.3 and F3.3 on the standard F10 scope) this scope gives you a super fast F4 and F2!
This scope has been used regularly in a local astronomy group in Berkshire and then until recently for outreach to kids clubs (cubs, brownies etc.)

Runs from a standard 12V supply
This is a vintage scope now but the tube design has remained the same through the LX range. The primary and secondary mirrors are excellent as shown in the pictures. The corrector plate has some I assume loss of UHC coating over the years but does not affect views at all.
All the accessories run from a standard 3.5mm jack and can be powered through the mount.
I realise this is quite a rare F6.3 OTA and you may just want the OTA deforked to run on another mount. So I can split it but would not like to post it. I would prefer scopes are seen before purchase.
One of the great things about these mounts is they can be used unpowered/manually for quick setup and sky scanning. Shame to see it go but too many scopes of similar designs and focal lengths and too little time to use!
