For sale, my Meade 10 inch telescope and mount.

The tube is mounted on a heavy duty Vixen dovetail. and easily mounts and balances on the Celestron Advanced GT field tripod and mount. Also comes with a flexible dew shield, a dual channel dew controller and advanced 99% reflective diagonal that also takes 2 inch eyepieces.
I’ve had this a few years, but have literally only used it five or six times, so has been stored most of the time. I have tested the mount a couple of days ago and all looks good and the got controller is working, I’ve never used the goto function as by the time I’ve lugged all this into the garden i tend not to bother…i’m sure some of you know what i mean, with the heavy duty field tripod and counter weights its a heavy beast. Due to the weight i’m afraid i can only offer local collection in south east london.
The front corrector plate could do with a clean, as you can see in the pictures, but this doesn’t hinder viewing as its very slight.
