They prevent optical aberrations to deliver true colour and high contrasted images. It is ideal for observing nature, studying urban landscapes, and to watch sports events from a distance. It has many features which make it different from other monoculars. First is the ED glass that eliminates parasitic halos (that appear in the edges of the images because of light refraction peculiarities). Secondly, the chromatic aberrations eliminate across the entire field of view.
