Konus was established in Verona in 1979 in the north of Italy. Konus is especially known for its good price-quality ratio and its highly functional products. This translates in the many extra features that every Konus product is equipped with, without paying a higher price for this. This method has made Konus one of the biggest optics and telescope manufacturers in the world.
The Konuspot 80 telescope offered here is a versatile light/medium weight telescope that is easy to use and carry and provides good, sharp images at normal birdwatching distances. I have also got very good results viewing the moon and planets at night.
The unit comes complete with a strong carrying case, a small tripod, lens cover and camera adaptor (not sure what sort of camera it fits though). It is in good condition having seen little use.
I am selling because I am moving and do not have room for the telescope.
