As I own a pair of these myself and have done for three years I could wax lyrical for some time but to sum these binos up I think it is fair to say.
Daytime
They are usable but a PITA due to the individual eyepiece focusing. still very very sharp with a nice flat field but not what you would call user friendly
Night time
In this they excel and have become my goto bins for serous binocular astronomy, the are sharp well colour corrected and the stars are pleasing across the whole field,. Although not lightweight by any means, it suits them perfectly making them easy to handle for some time. I cannot recommend these more highly for astro use for those of us with not such big pockets as some. Having said that these are not a trifle price wise either!
