REDUCED – Early CARL ZEISS Jena MARINEGLAS 6x binoculars Serial number 220282 (1909-10)
+ good Leather Case.
Distinguishing features (to show age) include Serial number, vertical and horizontal knurling (rather than diagonal) below eyepiece, zinc/brass combination on the objective tubes.
These seen undamaged except for a section of the edge of one eyepiece (but they are over 100 years old).
There are obvious signs of use but the optics seem remarkably clear.
No obvious fungus or debris inside.
A great example of these most treasured and highly regarded binocs.
