I have to say you will really have fun playing with this monocular.
You will be super happy you are able to hook my Samsung Galaxy or iphone 7 ,6s up to this with no problems.

After getting this out of the box you can play with the adjustments so you can familiarize yourself with it before hooking up you phone to it.
You can buy a tripod has flexible legs so that you can be able to adjust to what you want to watching.
You can set it up on your table and started to take pictures of different stuff.
You may do like that you are able to make the viewing area large and small as well as being to focus on closer or farther things. The soft rubber on the outside make its easy to maintain a nice hold. You can find using this is very easy and love it. You are anxious to take this outside when its nicer out so You can get pictures of the red cardinals and the blue jays that like your front yard.
