Description

Celestron SkyMaster 20-100×70 Zoom Binocular

It’s a Zoom binocular, and quite a big one at that. Most binos promise you the
world, but end up not even giving a decent back yard….

If you really must have a big powerful binocular (heaven knows why, they are a
real pain to use) then at least this one delivers an image that you can actually
see (I know it sounds odd, but a lot of ‘Mega-powerful’ binos are unusable at
high power – no I mean UNUSABLE – as in they don’t work!) These are good value
for the money for the person who simply MUST have a really powerful binocular
because their brain cannot compute it is LIGHT, not POWER that makes a bino
good. Well, we tried.

The manufacturer spiel is below so decide for yourself . The stuff worth
pointing out as good is

 BAK4
prism –    (wide angle + sharp)

Multi coated –     Sharp edges to the image

70mm Objective    Bright at 20x power, rubbish at 100x (but a lot
better than most of  the junk at this sort of power)

 Designed
to bring you closer to the finer details in life, the SkyMaster series of
binoculars have multi-coated optics and high index BAK-4 prisms for superb light
transmission, increased contrast and resolution, bringing together a clear,
crisp image for sharper views. A large center knob makes for fast and easy
focusing without taking your eyes off the subject in view and there is long eye
relief so even glasses wearers can achieve comfort during use.

Maximum Light Transmission for Maximum Viewing

With a large 70mm objective lens, the SkyMaster 20-100x70mm Binoculars offer
amazing light gathering capabilities making them ideal for stargazing as well as
a range of land based applications such as bird watching or hunting,
particularly in low light conditions. A handy included carry case make the
binoculars perfect for taking with you on the go and setting up in a variety of
locations and terrains, with a protective rubber coating to ensure ultra-firm
grip even through the worst of weather conditions.

With higher magnifications than standard binoculars, SkyMaster 20-100×70 bring
celestial objects up close for basic astronomical viewing, providing images with
outstanding detail and eliminating the need to purchase an expensive telescope.
View the heavens and the world around you with the SkyMaster Series.
