The TravelScope 60 already has a full 1.25 inch focuser, so you can choose from a variety of accessories – most astronomical eyepieces fit in this compact telescope. The short focal length of 360 mm wide fields are possible at low magnification. So orientation is easy in the sky as well as in nature, and moving targets can be tracked easily. Ready to look at the stars The compact telescope can not only be used for the observation of nature, but also for viewing the sky. With its short focal length, it is a beautiful rich-field telescope and well suited, for example, to roam the Milky Way, to hunt star clusters or even as a good comet finder: Due to the large field these objects are presented nicely especially at low magnification. In particular, the bright comet ISON that passed the sun in December 2013 and is bright in our sky is a nice target for this telescope. Of course, you can watch the moon with the TravelScope 60. The special moon filter dampens brightness to a comfortable level so that even the full moon is not blinding.
