The Celestron Nexstar 127 SLT is a computerized GoTo telescope with high quality, high contrast Maksutov-Cassegrain optics. This has given me great views of the moon jupiter, saturn and its rings and mars. I have used a webcam and got some great images of all of these. You can also see bright galaxies. 

Set up is so easy. Turn it on add the time a location, center any one, two or three bright stars/planets then choose what you want to look at from the list in the handset..

Can be powered by 8 AA batteries or a suitable AC adapter or portable power-tank. This is a great travel scope. The ergonomically designed hand control can be removed from its holder for remote use or left in situ for hands-free operation. With a touch of a button you can select the object catalog, change the slew speed, view information about an object, or simply know if a desired object is visible in the sky. 

 Pre-assembled, adjustable stainless steel tripod and quick-release fork arm and optical-tube-assembly for quick and easy setup. No tools required!

Revolutionary SkyAlign using Celestrons SkyAlign, simply input the date, time and location into the hand control then slew the telescope to any three bright celestial objects in the sky. You do not need to know the names of the stars, you can even select the Moon or bright planets!

Includes the original boxes but no cd’s but these can be downloaded directly from celestron. 

I have owned this for a few years now but do not seem to have the time to make the most of this great bit of kit. There is a slight mark on the handset but this is on the plastic film.

I also will include the leads to allow you to connect and control this via a computer or laptop using software such as stellarium.

Payment on collection preferred but if you would like to arrange your own courier collection at your risk then I am happy to do this and will make sure its well packed.
