German Army ddx Voigtlander Dienstglas 6×30 H/6400 Military Binocular WW2 RetClick images to enlargeDescriptionGerman Army ddx Voitlander KF Dienstglas 6×30 H/6400 Military Binocular from WW2.ThisGerman army Dienstglas 6×30 H/6400 military binocular dates from WW2. Itis in good condition consideringits age.They are marked ‘ddx’ and ‘KF’ on the left hand eyepiece plate, indicating that they were manufactured by Voitlanger and that they were treated with ‘Klte Fest’ a special low temperature lubricant (for use on the Russian Front etc). The right hand plate is stamped ‘Dienstglas’ ‘6×30′ and the part code H/6400. They have the serial number 104683.The brass aluminium body work is ingood shape, with some rubbed paint and abrasion on the raised areas commensurate with use. Both of the Bakelite eyecups are in excellent condition, without any cracks or chips.The prismatic optics are well collimated andundamaged. Thereare no chips or prism damage present at all,following a thorough inspection. There is some internal fungus visible on the prisms (when viewing in reverse). This binocular would greatly benefit from an internal clean. The eyepieces are focused individually, as is the norm with most military binoculars. There is a clear range-finding reticle, (marked with ’10’ ’20’ ’30’ ’40’) present in the right-hand field. Focusing is smooth and easy on both eyepieces.Please see the detailed images provided to fully assess the external cosmetic condition.Overall a very nice collectable anduseableGerman WW2 militarybinocular.I’m happy to combine postage. Excellent Rare REL Canada CGB 40 MA 7×50 Military Naval Binocular & Case WW2Click images to enlargeDescriptionREL Canada C.G.B. 40 M.A. 7×50 Military Naval Binocular & Case .This rare REL Canada CGB 40 MA 7×50 military binocular, is ininreally excellentcondition consideringits age.They are marked ‘C.G.B. 40 M.A.’ and ‘7×50’ and bearthe serial number ‘21139-C’ on the left hand eyepiece plate. The markings ‘R.E.L./CANADA’ and ‘1944’ are on the right hand eyepiece plate.’R.E.L.’ indicates the wartime manufacturer for this historic binocular is ‘Research Enterprises Limited’. The body work is inexcellent shape, with justsome tiny areas flaked paint in placescommensurate withage, as shown in the supplied images. The black ‘textured finish’ is also intact and in very good condition. It has two military ‘Crows-foot’ symbols engraved into it, indicating Naval issue for these binoculars. OverallI would describe them as usedbut verywell looked after. The anti-reflection coated optics are in beautiful condition, without scratches or fog. There is no damage at all to the prisms andthe binocular is in perfect collimation.They produce a reallyexcellent well corrected image, which is very clear, sharp and free from false colour as you would expect from such a renowned binocular. The eyepieces are focused individually, as is the norm with most military binoculars. Their operation is smooth and accurate, making this binocular a pleasure to use! The Bakelite eye-cups are in perfect condition without any damage. This excellentbinocularcomes complete withits original ‘HOOD’ B18 composite storage case, which is in excellent condition, being complete with its fastening and belt loops and internal pouch containing the gas purging nozzle. The originalleather strap andbrass fixings for the binocular itself are also present.Please see the detailed images provided to fully assess the condition.Overall a very collectibleCanadianmilitaryWW2 militarybinocular and original case, in really excellent condition. In good external vintage condition as photographed.
We are not optics experts but can say that the lenses do not appear to be cracked or chipped in any way. On close observation, looking down through the large lens on 1 side, there is 1 tiny area of slight fogging on 1 inner lens. Looking down the other barrel there are some short curvy opaque lines on an inner lens. When looking through from the smaller viewing end, these imperfections are not visible and all appears to be clear.

PLEASE NOTE – The buyer who previously bought these from us and took delivery of them, then asked for a partial refund of 200, stating the following – “there is moisture present and slight fogging, moreover there is also delamination present in one of the inner lenses.”
