Carl Zeiss Jena DDR “Jenoptem” 8 x 30w wide-angle binoculars serial number 4305149 (1975.) These are a pair of genuine East German Zeiss binoculars clearly marked “DDR” and with the correct 7-digit serial number. Thesehigh-quality compact Zeiss binoculars are in sound, fault-free condition with perfect, crystal-clear optics and with absolutely no damage to prisms or any cleaning marks/scratches to the lenses. Collimation is perfect with no double image. They focus very smoothly and produce and bright, pin-sharp image. Cosmetic condition is also very good with just a few, hardly noticeable traces of wear. They have their solid leather red velvet lined case, a case strap and black leather binocular lanyard. A fine example of this versatile classic Zeiss glass ready to give many more years of enjoyable use. The binoculars will be carefully packed in a well padded box for dispatch and sent fully insured.
