There are a few internal bacterial blemishes on the objectives, but nowhere near enough to require an internal clean. They are in superb optical condition. All the adjustments (focus, eye span & individual eye adjuster feel & move as new. The binoculars give the impression that they were carefully stored but used once, or a couple of times, & allowed to get ruffed up on a stone, or rough surface.
