Carl Zeiss Jena DDR Jenoptem 8x30w multi-coated binoculars serial number 6555284 (1987.) . This is a pair of genuine East German Zeiss binoculars, bearing the correct 7-digit serial number and clearly marked “DDR” made just before production ended in 1991. They feature Zeiss’ revoluntionary world-beating T3M multi-coated optics for maximum light transmission and optimal viewing even in difficult conditions. The binoculars are in full working order with no faults or damage. They are clear internally except for a small amount of dust, invisible in normal use and not effecting performance in any way. And they are nicely collimated – i.e. no double image. And the cosmetic condition is close to new, paint hardly showing any signs of use and unmarked leather. They focus very smoothly producing a bright, pin-sharp image, Carl Zeiss optical excellence at its finest. They come with their original solid leather red velvet lined case, also in excellent condition, with case shoulder strap and black leather binocular lanyard. A great classic binocular in superb condition ready to give many years of enjoyable use. Binoculars will be carefully packed in a well-padded box and sent fully insured.
