Carl Zeiss Jena DDR Jenoptem 8x30w binoculars serial number 4718997 (1977.) This is a pair of genuine East German Zeiss binoculars, bearing the correct 7-digit serial number and clearly marked “DDR”. The binoculars have no faults or damage optically, are crystal-clear internally and nicely collimated – i.e. no double image. And the cosmetic condition is also excellent with virtually unmarked paintwork. They focus very smoothly producing a bright, pin-sharp image, Carl Zeiss optical excellence at its finest. They come with their original solid leather red velvet lined case, in very nice condition, with case strap and black leather binocular lanyard. A great classic binocular ready to give many more years of use and enjoyment. Binoculars will be carefully packed in a well-padded box and sent fully insured. I am happy to post world-wide.
