Carl Zeiss Jena DDR “Jenoptem” 10 x 50w multi-coated binoculars serial number 5125801 (1980). This is a pair of genuine East German Zeiss binoculars, bearing the correct 7-digit serial number. They feature Zeiss’ revoluntionary world-beating T3M multi-coated optics for maximum light transmission and optimal viewing even in difficult conditions. The glasses are nicely collimated without any trace of a “double image”  and internally crystal clear,  with  undamaged prisms,  lenses and optical coatings. They perform perfectly, producing a bright, pin-sharp image, well up to the legendary Zeiss standard. In cosmetic terms, there is slight wear to paint and the leather covering. They are sold with their original solid-leather Zeiss case together with its leather strap and black leather binocular lanyard. A great classic binocular ready to use and enjoy.
