X 50 B. OCTAREM BINOCULARS

This auction is for a used
pair of 8 x 50B binoculars in nice condition and the serial number]
is 6564419. They have the
original case which is very good with replacement strap and lanyard
which are very serviceable
. The case has a burgundy lining which
is excellent.
Cosmetically they are in very
good order with just minor paint wear on the objective rims but
this does not have any effect
on the general condition of this pair of Octarem’s which are in very
good condition throughout and
have been well looked after since the production date of 1986
Optically they are in very
good condition and give clear and bright image, with reverse viewing revealing a spotless interior with no
signs of fungus or other debris ,but
there is a transparent crystal on the left hand objective and also some very
tiny ones on the right hand side , however they have no effect whatsoever on
the image produced. The original multi-coatings are unmarked and all lens’s /
prism’s are perfect. All focusing
functions are silkily smooth and positive and the collimation is also in
perfect order, the rubber eyecups are soft and flexible and appear to be in a
as new condition.
