For Sale is a Bresser German Equatorial Mount (GEM) suitable for use with many spotting scopes, refracting telescopes or lighter reflecting telescopes.
The EQ-2 mount is in good condition and excellent working order.
The mount features a standard mounting plate with locking screw to accept dovetail bar fitted to telescope.
Features dual setting circles and slow-motion controls for declination and right ascension, as well as slow motion drive locking knobs. Altitude scale, adjuster and altitude lock knob, mounting point for RA drive and 0.98kg counterweight.
The counterweight rod and counterweight have been unscrewed for transport.
Optional EQ-2 computerized drives for convenient autotracking are readily available elsewhere.
