Thegerman BRESSER brand has been supplying mostly japanese sourcedbinoculars and other optical products for over 60 years…and arestill going strong today.Onsale here is a greenrubberarmouredBRESSER8x 56roofprismbinocular, agood few years old but it could be in virtually un-usedcondition!?The optics are veryclear, focusing is very smooth,andthe body remains tactile and pleasantto hold, andstill has the slight whitish factory residue on the green rubberarmouring I have not attempted to remove it!Inreality, this is the BRESSER version of a japanese design copying thegerman made large objective roof prisms, you can also find thisbinocular as a HILKINSON, a PANORAMA or a FRANK NIPOLE. Theview out is sharp and bright, handlingis pleasingwithrubber fold down eyecups for spectacle wearers and a tripod socket ispresent in the lower hinge.
