These binoculars are a great general use (birding, hiking etc) size and are regarded as the perfect size for astronomy – with an efficient “light gathering” relationship between magnification and aperture, the 10×50 size will deliver stunning astro-image brightness and stellar magnitude penetration (you’ll see more stars!) than binoculars with a higher magnification to aperture ratio. The 10×50 binoculars feature long eye relief and soft rubber fold-down eyecups making these binoculars ideal for spectacle wearers.
The Bresser 10×50 is a serious binocular for the astronomer: all lenses and prisms are super clear BaK-4 glass with all glass surfaces fully anti-reflection coated. The rugged rubber armoured cast-alloy metal body has a comfortable high quality feel and features a tripod fitting bush (again, making this binocular ideal for astronomy).
